Anna Nicole Smith & Sef Gonzales
When I pinged this blog at Technorati a few days ago, I was shocked to see that the No. 1 search term was Anna Nicole Smith (after all, she was no “hot young item” like Paris Hilton or Britney Spears) and was even more shocked to find out that it was because she had died unexpectedly at the age of 39. After a cursory reading of the news articles, what bothered me so much is that it seemed too coincidental that:
> mother and son (Daniel) would die under the same mysterious circumstances
> and ostensibly of the same cause (prescription drug overdose),
> within 5 months of each other,
> both dying at a relatively young age,
> both deaths still under investigation.
That leaves her daughter, poor little 5-month old Dannielynn, at the mercy of all those claiming custody of her: Howard K Stern (named as the father on her birth certificate), Larry Birkhead (her mom’s ex-boyfriend), Vergie Arthur (Anna Nicole’s biological mother), and now add to this list Prince Frederick von Anhalt, Zsa Zsa Gabor’s ex-husband, who claims he had a 10-year affair with Smith and may be Dannielynn’s father.
Now why do they all want Dannielynn? Could it be because her mom had an appeal pending for a lawsuit involving her share of the estate of her late husband, 89-year-old Texas oil magnate Howard Marshall II who was worth $1.6 billion when he died? The person to whom custody is granted will have control of that money, if the case is won, plus what Anna Nicole’s left behind, until Dannielynn comes of age.
The first thought that came into my head, upon reading of her death was “Where was Howard K Stern when she died?” It seems he was at the scene, just as he was when Daniel died, too. Now he is fighting off rumours that he gave Daniel the methadone that caused his death. Mysterious deaths are always treated as crimes, and if these were crimes, the next logical question would be “Who stands to benefit from the death of Anna Nicole and Daniel?” The answer would be — Dannielynn! But at 5 months of age, she could not have possibly killed them. That leaves us with ….
So why do I include Sef Gonzales in all this? Because, given my train of thought, I was reminded of the time Teddy, Loiva and Clodine Gonzales were brutally murdered in Australia. At that time, Teddy Gonzales was my landlord as I was renting his property on Legarda Road in Baguio. It was logical to assume that the closest surviving relative, their son Sef Gonzales, would substitute as my landlord. But if Sef had killed his family, who would inherit the property? Ahhh that would have depended on which of the three died last.
They were murdered in July 2001 and I was told very soon after by William Gonzales, Teddy’s father, that the three were killed an hour apart each. That led me to think, what murderer would hang around that house for two whole hours waiting for someone else to arrive so he could kill him? That led me to suspect Sef immediately as the murderer. Because of the opportunity – of course he gave conflicting and weak alibis as to his whereabouts at the time of the murders. He, of course, had the motive and the means to commit the crime.
It was determined that Teddy was last to be killed, so Teddy’s parents, who were sill alive, would inherit, if Sef were found guilty of wiping out his whole immediate family.
Of course there’s much more inside juice about the Sef Gonzales story but I will reserve that for a future article. What matters now is that the Size 14 Guess model (that’s what I loved about her – she was not stick thin like other models) has died a mysterious death and I really want to know if Howard K. Stern killed her or not. He certainly had all the motives, means and opportunity to do so.
