Hope and Peace from PAGASA!
PAGASA (Peoples Assembly for Genuine Alternatives to Social Apathy) is a spiritual-cultural movement which hopes to involve individuals from all walks of life in the process of creating a better country.
We would like to invite you to a 2-day Workshop of Hope entitled “Inner Change Towards Societal Transformation” to be conducted by Mr. Nicanor Perlas, a recipient of the Right Livelihood Award also known as Alternative Nobel Prize in 2003.
The workshop details as follows:
Date : April 21-22,2008 Monday-Tuesday
Time : 1st day 830am – 9pm
2nd day 830am – 7pm
Latecomers will not be allowed in, as the workshop is sequential.
Venue : Betania Retreat House (RVM), 31 Navy Road, St. Mary’s Hill 2600 Baguio City
Fee : Php 3,000 (includes all meals and workshop materials)

The Philippines is known globally for “people power”, its non-violent method of deposing dictators and corrupt heads of state. First there was People Power 1 that ended the Marcos dictatorship in 1986. Then there was People Power 2 that toppled the corrupt regime of President Joseph Estrada.
