Originally, I thought that for folks coming up to Baguio City from Manila, getting back to Manila would be a cinch. As it turns out, the road getting back home is still a little tricky for some folks.

Rumors of a tram, train or streetcar line in downtown Baguio City have been floated around for a decade now. The first “serious” plan we heard was in the late 1990s coming rom the Camp John Hay developer, Bob Sobrepena who wanted to connect Camp John Hay to Session Road. That would have been a Loakan-Session line that passes through Upper Session Road and reaches the Baguio City Market and goes back up again.

Baguio weather is always fabulous in January. This is for me the best month of the year, that sweet spot (that’s Resty’s word) between the hectic months of December for the Christmas Season and February with the Panagbenga lasting the whole month and not to mention PMA week and Valentines.
News reports have the temperatures dropping [...]

The rush to secure suitable lodging accommodations for Holy Week 2007 is on!
I don’t understand why, since Baguio is most popular during Holy Week, that folks wait until the last minute to book hotel rooms and transient houses. By last minute, I mean one month before. That’s just too late already. The wise ones reserve [...]
