Should Baguio Hotels Provide Airconditioning?

Written by lisa on Mar 3rd, 2007 | Filed under: baguio, business & economy, camp john hay, gobaguio, travel / vacation

A lady from Germany emailed me an inquiry for lodging in July at my bed & breakfast inn, and she specifically insisted on airconditioned rooms. Burnham (yes, it’s the Burnham Park guy, our city’s urban planner), everything cheap (ok, cheaper than here even), a thriving cottage industry, and a beautiful natural environment.

Merry Christmas to All!

I went down to Manila via the De Luxe Victory Liner bus on December 24th to spend Christmas with my family. And since Victory Liner refused to accept reservations for bus tickets for December 25th, insisting on a “first come first served” policy, I took a car and driver up to Baguio the next day because I did not relish spending any part of Christmas day standing around in the dinky Cubao terminal with the mass exodus of people, lined up to “beg” for a seat, not having a choice of which type of bus I was to ride up in.

Blogging Baguio

Written by lisa on Nov 8th, 2006 | Filed under: baguio, gobaguio, travel / vacation, web/tech

Go Baguio! Your Guide to Baguio City Philippines is such a dynamic website, its pages updated almost daily, so one would think there’s no need to maintain a web journal for it. Why don’t I just keep adding pages instead of trying so hard to learn how to customize a blog?
