I read as many blogs as I can & as my sked permits.Also thanks for the Planning a Baguio Wedding portion..It’s a big help to us, wedding planners..Like you I would love to see our Beloved Baguio City have a total make-over,it’s former beauty restored. Re: Elaine Sembrano, I got a chance to talk to her personally early this year and asked why she wanted to be Mayor,at a time so early (like what most people are saying)..She said she really wants to effect change fast..(w/c seems to be difficult when you’re in the city council wherein a lot of good proposals are always being @?#!_____..) Her heart I guess is with the market people and she really takes the time to go out to the market (saw her in her heels & pink suit one time) even after office to check on the market..It seems to me that most officials don’t really go to the market or even brgys.unless invited to check on situations..

Let’s just hope that her heart and passion for the people will not be influenced by her colleagues in the city hall and by money(i guess marami na siya nito? hehe), and lastly by the greed to stay in power..(w/c a lot of our officials have right now)…

Let’s pray that our people will have the wisdom to choose the the right leaders so we can all rise up to bring back our City to it’s feet and restore the beauty that we call Baguio.

I so agree with you. Anyone who puts up self-serving tarpaulins should be strung up by their balls right along with the tarps. I hate the way these people pollute my vision with THEIR ugliness.

For this shamelessness, she does not deserve to be Baguio Mayor.

i had been attending council sessions last year until early this year. After listening to all those resolutions, plans from each councilor, it gives me a headache…

because the real thing is….the issue is not actually resolve because politics involved that much.what matters is: Who is opposition and who is not.

Whoever will be the next mayor by 2010….Hope to see Baguio beautiful again….

Regarding mrs sembrano, i just heard that before she became a councilor…she’s a jueteng financier…but a lot of people is saying naman thats she’s really kind. Anyway who cares about financing jueteng in baguio…i guess more than 50% of the population is in to this betting game. Ikaw…tumataya ka ba? hehehe…

And last thing…di na kami babalik ng baguio to attend Panagbenga…worst traffic management ever…and even on the float parade…no crowd management were in place except dun sa me mga camera yata…ang gulo and ang hirap. Hay…Baguio is really not the In place now.

My impression with our elected city officials is that they are too arrogant to even accomodate good ideas from residents. They think they are the only ones who can come up with such. Note, BENECO has come up with a proposal in which they will take charge of the city’s street lights. They have the resources to do so and what does our city council do, they turn it into a political issue instead of embracing the proposal.
